Synonymous with the flamboyant eighties, this ostentatious geometric pattern was produced by Adidas for a number of national teams to wear during the 1988 Euros. It was the Dutch however, that brought the design to prominence, wearing a version of it in their distinctive bright orange colours and winning their first, and only, major tournament.
